Let's Go To the Vintage Flea Market

Welcome. I am so happy that you stopped by. My garden gate is always open for you to come in and sit and relax and have a nice cold drink of mint ice tea. On my goodness gracious - Summer finally arrived in the Coastal area of Southern California and we are having hot weather. It is even hotter inland. I went to the flea market in Old Town Orange really early to beat the heat and found an adorable garden sign (not vintage, but perfect) to hang on the potting table in my garden. Would you like to come with me and Bentley and I will share with you the photos I took?

I hung it over the red bucket fountain I put out for all God's creatures - great and small - to drink from.

The birds and possum love it - looks like a certain Studio Assistant also likes to drink from it.

The bucket fountain came from Debra's Cottage and I had it custom painted red to go with the red accents in my garden. Debra's is a fabulous cottage style shop with over 100 vendors. Her store sells all things wonderful and cottage from furniture, custom made pillows, garden things, china, tea and speciality food items and too many wonderful things to mention. Enough of my rambling - let's go to Old Town Orange to the Flea Market.

Vintage "girlly " things.

One of my favorite shops is The Victoria Company. I bought my garden sign there. I love shopping there to find red accents for my home and garden.

An old ladder makes a great place to display fun things. It would be wonderful in the garden with potted plants. Hmm - maybe next time I will look for a ladder for my garden.

Before we leave Old Town - let's drive by some of the wonderful old cottages.

This is my very favorite cottage - the pink door really speaks to me. Do you have a favorite cottage?
